Start a chapter!

Bring the movement to your community by launching a Banned Books Initiative chapter. As a chapter leader, you’ll empower local teens to stand up for the freedom to read through events, discussions, and advocacy. We’ll provide resources, training, and ongoing support—so you can focus on building impact and creating change where it matters most. Check out our Partnerships Program!

DONATE

Your donation helps us empower teens, partner with libraries, and raise awareness about censorship nationwide. Every contribution—big or small—goes directly toward programs, events, and resources that protect the freedom to read and amplify diverse voices. Together, we can ensure access to stories that matter.
